The External Sleeve Control Choke has a sleeve that throttles the flow on the outside diameter of the ported cage. This choke is used for low capacity/high pressure drop applications. The external sleeve is specifically designed for severely erosive conditions where the combination of high pressure drops and high sand concentrations can reduce the life of a choke. Features 01.Tungsten carbide lined stem and seat provide optimum wear resistancein erosive conditions. 02.Metal-to-metalbonnet closure seal. 03.Reverseangle trim reduces annular flow-by extending the life of the trim. 04.Self-flushing,pressure-balanced ports minimize stem loads and actuator requirements. Heavyduty thrust bearings also reduce operating torque. 05.OuterFlow Sleeve provides protection from impact damage. 06.Stemlock maintains set position. 07.Indicatorcalibrated in 1/64" or multiples of 1/64" increments to showeffective orifice diameter.
